All club members are invited to join virtually, via Zoom, on Education Day, Monday, March 24th.

Advocacy Workshop (virtual) – Thursday, March 20th

This workshop is open to all GCA club members and is a “must” for first time NAL Conference delegates. The workshop will run between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

What to Expect

Now more than ever, our planet needs our help, and the GCA is a powerful non-partisan voice for informed volunteers.

Please join us as we return to the nation’s capital for the 42nd annual National Affairs & Legislation Conference. Hear from nationally renowned experts including scientists, business and non-profit leaders, and members of congress, who will give us the tools to confront threats to our natural world. Through education and communication, and by working collaboratively, we can heal our soil and waterways, protect our wetlands, preserve biodiversity, reduce our use of fossil fuels and address petrochemical damage. Together we can advocate to save the planet for future generations!

All GCA club members have an opportunity to be “in the room” in Washington, joining our conference delegates for Education Day on Monday, March 24th, live streamed via Zoom. Members will hear about a host of legislative initiatives that reflect the GCA’s mission, “to restore, improve and protect the quality of the environment”.

At the virtual pre-conference Advocacy Workshop, delegates and club members can learn how to prepare to meet with Senators and Representatives, with tips from a professional advocate and a congressional aide.
